The missing link and WOYWW (sort of)

It's Wednesday, but hopefully you already know that! Wednesday's mean having a nosey at other peoples work spaces courtesy of Julia. Mine has changed little since last week particularly on the neatness front. So instead of the same picture of the leaning tower of craft (see last Wednesday's blog post if you're that desperate to judge me on my mess) I have gathered on the bed the things I will hope to be working on today.
There's the frame which has moved on a stage since its last showing and has now been inked and sprayed. Some images I am colouring for a project to give to the Pickle - the project is in the envelope on the left, only painting completed so far.

I'm not entering very many challenges this month as Scrap-a-mia will be upon me before you know it and I still have pictures and ATCs to prepare. I have my colourful instructions out and have filled a bag to bursting with craft stuff to take but I think I will revise it as I have been very 'cardmaking' in my thinking and I need to think 'scrapbook and mini books'.

Yesterday's jewellery shot showed several projects in the making - when will I ever just work on one thing until it is done? Never, I say (any family reading this should now make comparisons to Dad and his DIY). The necklace I did finish has an unusual link on it.
Its had 3 incarnations, 1st as a choker which I hated cos it throttled me, then as a chain because I couldn't make the link work and finally I achieved a Byzantine link! Nothing to do with last week's Dr Who but a form of chain mail that you make yourself from a handful of jump rings. Was very pleased with the final link it took much swearing and dropping of the whole thing. However, not so pleased with the butterfly underneath. It is drilled too wide for a pin and needed a seed bead to hold it on but now it looks like a little yellow butterfly poo! I feel a 4th incarnation coming on for that one, maybe it is like Dr Who after all.

Just before I go ........ there are a couple of new giveaways listed on the sidebar if you fancy your chances. Just click on the pictures and they should take you to the blog concerned.

No, I didn't think poo when I saw it, I thought about extra beady embellishment! Love the whole byzantine thing - swearing I totally get - too fiddly for my tantrum levels!!
