By The Cute And Girly - December #2

Almost forgot to blog about the 2nd project I made for this month's challenge over at By The Cute And Girly - Let It Snow.
I've used another of the fab images from The Paper Shelter, this time it's Winter Owl.  The image has been coloured with Promarkers and I've added some layers.
The background was really fun to make.  Spritzing with different glimmers, then inking with Distress Ink.  The snowflakes on top are made by thickly stippling acrylic paint through a Papermania Henbury Lane steel stencil.  It's dried with a nice bit of texture.
There's a matching gift tag too.
I used the same circle greeting from QVC for both cards, just cut in half.
Make and share a project with us over at the challenge blog and if you make it this week the theme over at Winter Wonderland is also 'Let it snow', so you can enter your project there too.

Lastly, a quick reminder that there's still time to enter our design team call, full details on the By The Cute And Girly challenge blog.
