Studio L3

Here is the finished card from yesterday.
It's decorated with lots of Rock Candy Distress Stickles as my entry for Studio L3 challenge #10 from Compendium of Curiosities. I think joining in with this blog is going to be a great way of trying out all the techniques in the book.
The elements on the card use 2 ideas from this month's Craft Stamper Magazine. Leandra Franich's stamped background and Hels Sheridan's porcelain flower technique, although I don't have the melt pot she used and just slathered my flower with the stickles instead!
I'm also entering this card for:
Artistic Stamper Creative Team - Old and New (old stamps, new techniques).
Simon Says Stamp and Show - Studio 490 (which I have only just 'discovered' and I hope this fits the theme

Kate, this is a beautiful card! I love the design with the botanicals, hummingbirds and dragonflies-- absolute summer perfection!-- and the Distress Stickles look awesome. I'm so happy you joined the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge, and hope to see you again next week!
