Springtime with Handy Hippo
My 2nd post for March using products available from Handy Hippo. This time celebrating spring which is giving us some amazing weather at the moment.
I've made a card and some little spring decorations. I like the idea of decorations for seasons and other occasions not just for Christmas!
The lovely Penny Black Nature's Day stamp has been stamped 3 times and the images have been cut into layers, using a nestabilities die for the bottom layer.
The colouring has all been done with Promarkers and then all the layers have been attached with 3d foam.
The patterned cardstock for the card base is Kanban blue script, with a mat of plum card embossed with cherry blossoms.
The little wooden embellishments have made lovely card trims as well as hanging decorations. They have all been coloured with the Promarkers and accented with Diamond Stickles. They take the ink really well, just one coat needed. Here are a few more pictures of them.
The craft supplies used in this project can be bought from Handy Hippo and this link will take you directly to a basket with them all in (which you can edit to remove or add any items that you wish).
