Party Makes
I just got the 2 cards made during the blog party yesterday, spent the rest of the time chatting, spending money and discovering fab new bloggers.
The 1st card is for this week's DCM who are looking at the birth stone for February - Amethyst.
I've punched a circle to make a mask and then sponged over it with Dusty Concord distress ink. I then gave it a quick spritz with Hydrangea glimmer mist which is the palest of blues. This gave my moon some slight colour and then gave some sparkle to the inked area. Over stamped my tree with VersaFine and then put the card together inking anything that stood still long enough with more distress ink.
I had a thin off cut of card left which I used for my second card.
I've spritzed Dewberry glimmer mist over some new Glimmer Screens I bought in the sales. The lovely stamp is free on the current Craft Stamper magazine, I've already got 2 other projects on the go with it! I've made the flower following Sandra's tutorial but I've layered up 3 flowers the same size as that's the only punch I had to hand.
I've popped into town today and bought 2 frames to alter one inspired by yesterday's party and another I saw on a blog - I'll give full credits when I blog the finished creations.

You’ve done a great job with the free stamp……I’ve not been brave enough to even take mine off the cover of the magazine yet, let along use it!
Thanks for joining the Daring Cardmakers this week
