The Butterfly Effect

I've been adding things to this page for a few days, spending 5 minutes on it here and there.
I've used a sketch from the Imaginisce blog and my last piece of precious Moroccan Chic paper, I just have tiny little scraps left now, I just loved this paper.
I've combined it with some plain Core-dinations card I got on my Tidworth shopping trip. A big 6x6 stack so that I can find little bits of co-ordinating card without having to cut up big sheets. I've stamped on them with Bouquet and Dandelions Imaginisce stamps using a Lightening Black Brilliance ink pad.
Studio L3's latest instalment from the Compendium of Curiosities is mask basics.
I've used a big Tim Holtz flourish and spritzed it with gold perfect pearls mixed with water. After taking it off for cleaning, I stuck it back down without lining it back up perfectly and sponged through a little of the Lightening Black ink to give the shape more definition.
The butterfly idea comes from a card I saw in Papercraft Inspirations, I knew I would have to have a try at it at some point.

Kate, this is a wonderful page! Everything about it is gorgeous, from the brilliant way you did the masking to the beautiful panels of designer paper to the sweet little butterflies! Great use of color, too-- I love the sophisticated tones with the gold accents.

Your little girls is beyond adorable!
