The Last Tidy

I've been feeling inexplicably under the weather for the last couple of days and even spent most of Monday in bed, hence no blogging or crafting. Then yesterday evening I was either feeling better or the illness had really taken hold because I decided to tidy my desk!I shan't be doing that again in hurry. I now have everything tidied way where I can't get to it and pile of stuff on the floor that I don't know what to do with. All in all a waste of good crafting time, so don't expect any more tidy shots until at least after Christmas. And no questions about it that really tidy?!?!?

This is what's at the front of the desk on my WOYWW stand (I did find that so at least one good things has come from my mental aberration). It's for the 'thanks' theme at Keep It Simple this week. I do enjoy playing along with this challenge and getting back to basics.Don't forget to check in over at Julia's to share desks and if you haven't already noticed I've got some Halloween candy here. Crafting candy that is NOT the munchy kind, I'm not sharing my sweeties!

Good grief Kate, I do hope you are feeling better! I thought you were packing to move!! Having said that, you may get used to things being tidy and keep at it..I know I won't, but it can happen! As for the pile of 'don't know what to do with it' - that's me, which is a really good reason for me not following your example! Love the thanks card, really striking.

I think even the tidiest of work spaces has a little pile of don't know what to do with things...only my pile is not exactly small!

Lovely card Kate, and don't worry, your clean desk is simply a reflection of your current state of mind, things will get back to "normal" soon! Hope you're feeling better.

I hope you're feeling better now.

I have the same problem, if I tidy something away, I either forget where I've put it, or forget that I even have it!!

Hmmmmmm, thanks for confirming my suspicion - I always kinda thought tidying was just a short way of saying "loosing your stuff and never being able to find what you want" [grin]. Lovely card, thanks for sharing it.

I think it's 'that time of year' Kate - I'm just about ready for hibernation!!! Your card is gorgeous. Thanks so much for playing KIS! :o) xx
Love your card, so very pretty

Thanks for joining us at Keep it Simple - Clare
Hope you are feeling better by now. I would have been here sooner, because I had intended to stop by and visit anyone who left a comment. Then I got confused, so decided to go through the list instead. So you see how well my strategy worked (grin).

I love the card and if a tidy desk is not something you are comfortable with, by all means, get in there and make it "creative." (#1)

I like to think that the piles of crafty stuff are pockets of inspiration waiting to happen!!!
Now here's a blog I recognise!! Hope you are well Kate and have recovered from your illness last week. Absolutly in love with that card - the colors, the little details it's all just fab!
