Michael Powell
Michael Powell, the cross stitch designer, has designed some stamps for Papermania that look like watercolour scenes, so I thought I would give them a go.
I have got to say up front, I was a little disappointed with the quality of the stamp. The rubber isn't very deeply etched and the foam backing is very thin. As a result the image is not as crisp as I would like it to be, I will have to experiment some more.
I've watercoloured the scene with Distress Markers by scribbling onto a palette and picking the colour up with a waterbrush. The image is just mounted onto a card with a coloured mat, keeping the whole thing quite clean and simple.
