Purple and Butterfly Love
The weekend seems to have flown by. The children are in a dance show this weekend at the Royal Albert Hall no less and we are deep into final rehearsals and chasing down the last bits of uniform needed. On top of this I've signed on to discover that I have to come to terms with a whole new Blogger and I'm not enjoying it I can tell you.
I'm cheering myself up with a little bit of purple love, cos I do loves purple!
I've hardly used this Simply Sassy stamp from the very 1st collection, so it was about time she got herself inked. She is coloured with Copics with extra emphasis on the purple hair and the background has been shaded with Dusty Concord Distress Ink and a little bit of Black Soot around the edges.
To add to my love of purple I also love to use butterflies on my projects, quite frequently black ones. The saying "The butterfly counts not months but moments, and has time enough." always pops into my head when I use them.
