Ribbons and Lace
Still recovering from my lunch at the moment, baked bean flavoured cheese!!! I found a pack of individual cheese portions at the back of the fridge that the children hadn't eaten and thought they had better not go to waste. If cheese alone can give you nightmares I dread to think of the effect baked bean cheese can have!!!
Whilst I recover I have a card to share. The new theme for this month's challenge at the Artistic Stamper Creative Team Blog is 'Ribbons and lace.'
I recently bought a set of Wendy Vecchi stamps on E-bay and thought I would break them out of their packet and make a card. I was really pleased with them and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again, they are well worth the money, really BIG.
The background image has been created using the Distress Ink and water splatter technique, then stamped over with the bingo card from the stamp set. The flower from the set has then been stamped, inked and built up on kraft card and fixed together with a big WRMK eyelet. The leaves are from the same set and then I've added the bird from a Tim Holtz die.
The lace on the card is from Fancy Pants and I've used Laura Ashley ribbon on the sentiment, which is a Personal Impressions stamp on a plain ticket.
Challenges:
Artistic Stamper - Ribbons and lace
Sir Stampalot - Happy birthday
Simon Says Stamp And Show - Anything goes
