Ticking Over
The spring cleaning is going a pace during the day and I am still managing to keep the crafts ticking over in the evening. It's a welcome break and I look forward to it after my day of housework and trying to convince children that they really don't need a box of broken pencils and the packaging from their Christmas toys!
I've a card to share today. Again I have made it from a piece of left over card from my Tim Holtz style experiments. I swept it over the craft mat after I had finished to mop up the spare Distress Stains.
It's then been inked a bit more with some Distress Ink especially Wild Honey to brighten it up a bit. The stamps used are from Tim Holtz, Paperartsy, Pink Paislee and MME. There's a little bit of gold rub around the edge and then I mounted it on a card covered with map paper from Pink Paislee's London Market.
The little taxi cab stamp was free from Simply Homemade magazine, it's coloured with Distress Inks and has had some Rock Candy Distress Stickles added before I popped it on the the card with 3d foam.
Challenges:
Sunday Stamper #199 - Transport
Let's Ink It Up #22 - Distressing
Scrapbook Sisters #78 - Dads birthday/men
Simon Says - Use your favourite tool (Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool, it's become one of my essentials)
