Feeling the love!
Spent the morning at a children's pancake party. There was some singing, games and of course crafts and then the pancakes. But, BIG BUT, they were all savory. I was stunned. The fillings were lovely, spicy chicken, broccoli cheese and even bacon, but no sugar and lemon. I guess I am just a pancake purest! The children all tucked into them, even if some ate the filling first and then the pancake for dessert.
We're all feeling much better here and getting into the half-term routine, I'm not missing trudging up the hill to school in the morning.
Inevitably this week has a bit of a love theme to it and I have today the first of three, maybe even four or more, love themed cards and projects.
I've used a Leanne Ellis image 'Choose' from Sugar Nellie and coloured her with Copics and given her a faux stitched border.
The Echo Park Victoria Gardens papers were lovely so I kept the design simple, just adding some Papermania sticky dotty ribbon and an organza one to hold the charm.
The same on the inside.
Challenges:
Sugar Bowl #100 - Anything Sugar Nellie goes
Kaboodles Doodles #158 - Valentines
Craft Your Passion #149 Valentines
One Stitch At A Time #150 - Anything goes

I'm with you on the pancake front...sugar and lemon all the way...my kids think I'm strange...so I'm glad I'm not alone!
Hugs Erika.
