Roses are Red!
The half-way point for February has technically been and gone. I hope you received a little treat yesterday and if not that you treated yourself.
The continuing challenge theme for By The Cute And Girly this month is 'Roses are red.' I found an old set of Papermania stamps and just had to use them for my card as they couldn't have been more perfect.
They are coloured with Distress Markers (I'm still working on these, I like them, but they don't always come out quite as I expect!)
The image has been layered up with 3d foam to give the flowers some pop and I've broken into a new 6x6 pad of Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm for the spotty background paper.
The little rose charm on the front is an ancient one I found in the drawer; I really must get using up some more of my old supplies. I've just stamped an uncoloured single rose on the inside.
Challenges:
Moving Along With The Times - Love is in the air
Heck Of A Challenge - Love and flowers
Half-term week here and it's always show-time for us as the children perform in their annual dance show. This morning it was photo call time, where I have to drag them from their beds despite a late show finish the night before so that they can be photographed in their costumes by a professional photographer. An exhausting and ultimately expensive experience!! While I was there I heard that dressing room helpers might be short tonight. I don't usually do the night after the photo call, having been there all morning, but I feel I should offer. Update tomorrow, if I'm still standing!
