Kathy's Waffle Sketch

There's just time to have one more round of projects using the Kathy's Waffle Sketch for March.

I've made a stencil for my card with a large butterfly punch and inked and stamped through it with Shaded Lilac Distress Ink for the Craft Stamper Take It Make It blog challenge.  The stencil has then been taken away and I've stamped over the top with a Pink Paislee stamp in VersaFine ink.

The little banners at the top were on a pinkish paper and I decided I wanted to go for the lilac throughout so I inked over them with the Distress Ink as well.  The little words are from a free magazine stamp set.

In the end I looked at it and just couldn't stop myself from splattering some Grape Ape Chalkboard Mist over the top.

Easter holidays have started here for us and, although we only have a few activities planned, they are all at the beginning of the week, so expect lots of updates as the week goes on and I craft into the evenings after they have all finally gone to bed.
