Happy Easter!
Yes, I know, I'm a little bit behind here, but it's all good. The children have been enjoying themselves and we still have some eggs to hunt for. The sun is out and I can't see a single cloud, but it's still incredibly cold, at least it's a giant step in the right direction.
These holidays have been enjoyable for me with my crafting too. I've made two projects that I've always wanted to make but just never had the time. Yesterday's post was one of them and now here is the other.
I saw this egg at the garden centre when I went gallivanting a while ago and grabbed it with great excitement as I'd seen some great makeovers done with them. It's not covered in card, as I'd first thought, when I unwrapped it I found it's more of a canvas, like the sticky backed material you get in some scrapbook lines.
I decided to leave the outside plain, as it's pretty already and doesn't give any hint as to the surprise inside.
My little Tilda is coloured with Copics and layered with 3d foam. She's found a little bunny friend, I bought this stamp specially to go with my Magnolias it's by Crafty Impressions.
All of the flower embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts. In addition there are pink things that disintegrate when you touch them by Melissa Frances and the bead stems are from Handy Hippo.
Hidden away amongst the butterflies and flowers are some adorable little, pastel, wooden bunnies that I spotted in Paperchase labelled up as table confetti.
Challenges (hopefully I haven't missed all the Easter/Spring ones):
Country View Crafts - Butterflies
Sweet Magnolia #66 - Butterflies and things that flutter
Marvelous Magnolia - Wings
Magnolia-licious - Spring blossoms
