Knitting and Cupcakes
Last night I went to a knitting and cupcakes gathering. I took my crochet determined not to knit but a couple of ladies had come along from a stitching group and were ready to teach the non-knitters.
2 hours later and I can cast on, knit, pearl and cast off! Add to all that discovering hummingbird red velvet cupcakes and you have a pretty good evening.
I made a flower and started knitting an I'm not sure what.
The skies the limit now!

My mum and Grandma were both fab knitters - I was SUCH a disappointment to them! My mum swore I was a better knitter than she was but I think she was only trying to encourage me to like it more. I like sewing - you start off with nice big pieces and join them together to make bigger pieces. No dropped stitches and none of that counting stitches and rows either!
