WOYWW

Here it is the leaning tower of ...........
And in pride of place at the top (or teetering perilously, whichever way you look at it) is my completed little box using Hels Sheridan's crackle technique.
It seemed to crackle most effectively on the front. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to discover that I missed out one of the steps when I was decorating the lid.
I finally got the rose on the top completed by making a template from my replacement punch and then hand cutting the Grungepaper. It still doesn't quite have as much shape as I'd like in the petals, I need to read through some tutorials and see what I should be doing.
Inside I hand made a little butterfly, highlighting my need for a nice little stamped one that will cut out well. If I troubled to search through everything I probably have more than enough already!
I've kept the base flat and stamped a key on there for a little added secret hiding in the bottom.

love the precariously piled stash - shows you have been busy! love the box too - I am so into making boxes at the moment but never think to put something inside the lid so thanks for the inspiration to do that.

Ooh err missus! That teetering pile is incredibly distracting, but wow, that box is beautiful! Absolutely love it.
