Studio L3 - #11

No blogging for the last couple of days as I've been finishing some DT projects, it be almost September don't you know. Whilst I had some stamps out I thought they would be perfect to have a try at week #11 in the Tim Holtz Compendium of Curiosities challenge over at Studio L3. This week it's the Blended Batik technique which meant me getting up close and personal with a household appliance that I usually avoid like the plague. I think this is a quite widely known technique but the challenge says not to say how the effect is achieved, so for those who don't know it, I will have to leave you guessing.
I love these stamps but I will say no more about them until I blog my By The Cute And Girly projects on 1st September.
Other materials used are :
Distress inks
Hot Off The Press papers
X-cut border punch
Flowers from The Craft Garden
Heart charm from CraftsULove
Brads from a matchbox swap
Spare bit of Tim Holtz tape (I really NEED more of this!)

Kate, I can definitely tell that this piece was made with love! You did a gorgeous job with the Blended Batik, and, your color scheme ROCKS! Great embellishments, too, and you just sold me that fabulous peacock stamp! Can't wait for your Sept 1 post!
