A New Baby

I heard on Friday that a friend of mine had given birth to a healthy, 8lb, baby boy. Hopefully I will be able to pop in and see her today, so over the weekend I prepared this for her.A cute little Magnolia baby for the card. I've layered him up using supplies from the Pink Paislee Parisian Anthology collection. If you do look at this range online don't be fooled by its plain appearance. It has a lovely coating on like clear embossing which you can leave as is for a subtle effect or rub over with inks as I have. There's also a fab ticket roll in the collection which just has a million uses. I've used one of the mini notes too (they really are mini though!)One on them is on the inside too with the 'plain' side of the coated paper.I've made a scalloped tag to match using a scrap of patterned paper and stamping a butterfly from the matching stamp set.
