By The Cute and Girly and WOYWW
Can you believe it's the 1st of December already? The 1st means a new theme at By The Cute And Girly - 'Children'. It's also Wednesday which means WOYWW and this is what has been on my workdesk and occupying all my spare crafting time over the last couple of weeks.
12 Days of Christmas Chocolates
Strictly for me these ones!! I've recycled the box that held the chocs and covered it with My Minds Eye Christmas paper. I had to replace the acetate too and I've added a few K&Co snowflakes as well.
Each choc is covered in Melissa Frances paper and then has one of Penny Black's 12 days stamps on it.
Door Hanger
I've used the We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy tool for my stitching. I got it from Craft Obsessions. I'm sort of getting the hang of it and it definitely gives me neater stitches than when I just free-hand stitch.
The stamp is by Crafts UK and is one I bought for last years Christmas cards.
Last and by no means least.
Rainy Day Box
We used to have one of these when I was little. it didn't have things to do in it, just things to look at. Pictures, scraps and mementos. It was often brought out if we were ill and had to stay in bed.
I've made mine from the largest of the set I was sent by the DotComGiftShop. I've covered it with writing paper from Paperchase and decorated it with images from one of this month's sponsors at By the Cute And Girly, Fred She Said.
The design is available in a digi set called Smelling the Cherry Blossoms. The flowers are cut from the same set and I've added a fan button for a little more dimension.
Our other sponsors at By The Cute And Girly this month are:
That's about it from me. Hopefully it won't be another week before I blog again, but coughs and colds are doing the rounds and seem to be monopolising my time at the moment.
