A little bit of snow
We just caught the edge of the snowy weather last week and instead of blogging the picture I took I decided a scrapbook page was needed.
It's the first time it's snowed since the Branston Pickle got a playhouse and it really made me think of Snow White's cottage. Unfortunately he has been too ill with a cough and cold to be out playing in it in the snow, but I think he will more than likely get another chance this winter with the way things have been going.
On the page I used an old doily as a mask to spray the background along with a Tattered Angels icicle mask. It all came together in a weird and wonderful way that I was quite happy with.
The slight twinkle of the spray on the background paper is just visible in the picture above. For the flowers I also sprayed them with a bit of gold Perfect Pearls in water and Distress Ink, to make them a bit darker before stamping them with a musical image.
