By The Cute And Girly - part 2
Here's my second project for this month's By The Cute And Girly challenge.
I've got my Sassy stamps out and gone for the Hippie Chick, this time with my colour scheme of red and blue to fit with this month's challenge of 'Red + One'. The design of the card has been lifted from a scrapbook layout by Jill Cornell in issue 51 of the Scrapbook magazine. The background papers are from K&Co and I've coloured the image with Copic markers. Do you like her bubble background? It's a technique I learnt from a Manga book I borrowed from the library, all done with Copics straight onto the background, no masking. The butterfly and swirl background stamps are from my Minds Eye and I've added a touch of Peacock Glitz Stickles to the punched butterflies.
I'd like to enter for the following Challenges:
As always there are plenty of ideas for this month's challenge over at the By The Cut And Girly blog plus lots of great prizes to be won.
Did you know there is a limit to the number of blogs you can follow on Blogger? Well there is and apparently I have reached it. So Mr Blogger kindly informs me that if I want to add any more I must stop following some - eek! Given no choice I have removed about a dozen for now. They are either ones that haven't been updated for about a year, ones where someone has converted to a new blog and I am following the old and the new (hopefully I deleted the old ones). Or lastly, there were a couple of lovely challenges that for the last few months I haven't been able to log onto without my computer crashing, just too many bits and bobs in the side bar that you have to download to get to them. So there it is, hope I haven't offended or abandoned anyone!
