Time for a Tilda
I made this card for Just Magnolia's 'Going dotty' challenge which finished yesterday, oops! But, not to worry it fits this week's 'Anything goes' challenge and lots of others too. The Tilda is one of my prizes from Magnolia-licious and I've teamed her up with the EK Success picnic border. I think I will be using them in combination again.
I've also broken into my new Girls Paperie supplies to use for all the sentiments. Another new purchase recently was Kaiser Secret Bird Society papers, which I have used throughout. I couldn't understand why these were so expensive, so I treated myself to a pad in the sales and now I know. These are lovely papers which incorporate foiling, die-cuts and glossy coatings. The other stamps I have used are Papermania 'The Little Cake Shoppe'. I've coloured them (and Tilda) with Copics and liberally sprinkled them with Diamond Stickles.
For the finishing touches I've added some butterflies from my punch jars (see my WOYWW) and I've decorated inside the card too. I saw this effect with the deep edged punch somewhere (in a mag or on a blog) and forgot to note where it was, but it's the main reason I bought the punch in the 1st place.Nearly forgot, I made a matching tag too, that could double up as a book mark.
