WOYWW #150 & blood splatters!

It's Wednesday again and so that means workdesk snooping all over the creative world at Julia's blog.  Especially needed today to cheer ourselves up on a wet, horrible morning.

Last night's workdesk for me and it contained these.
Very excited because it's the 1st challenge for Compendium of Curiosity II at Studio L3.  I've made my homemade stamps using fabulous dies from the man himself TIM and used the butterfly stamp to make this.
I broke out some new stains and had a complete nightmare with the Fired Brick Distress Stain.  I thought it would brighten things up but I ended up with blood splatters.  In the end I left it off the finished tag and used it here instead to celebrate the Forever Night Friday 13th challenge.

So if you want blood splatters on your work you know what to do!  To finish off I thought I would show the Dinky Diva's finished collage again, in case any WOYWWers missed it since I didn't post the final picture on a Wednesday.
Have a good one.

Oh the collage piece is fab.. lovely colours and arrangements, clever Dinky Diva. Like the tags very much, specially the blood spotted one...I know what you mean, as a stain, it's almost a different colour! The Union Jack 12 x12 paper came from Tracey's shop in Tidworth.

If you had wanted blood splatters you wouldn't have gotten such a great effect! Well done to Dinky Diva - great work. Happy WOYWW #45
When you mentioned making your stamps and blood splatters, I thought perhaps you had stabbed yourself with stamp carving implements. Glad you didn't. The blood splatters look creepy and great for your Macbeth tag. You can keep that technique in mind for Halloween.

I think your blood splatters are cool and really all mistakes have a place in life, you just have to work out where they fit in. Nothing is wasted, right.

Really good idea with the dies I must give that a go.

Thanks for sharing
