Scrapagogo June kit page #1

I've been a little quieter than usual with my blogging, although my Craft Life is as busy as ever.  The invitations I made for SMO's aunt have generated another order for a friend who was married the same year and so is also celebrating a golden anniversary this year.  Completed those yesterday afternoon, so last night was scrapping time!

I've started my June kit from Scrapagogo and pulled out lots of bright and summery pictures to go with it.

My 1st page uses the July sketch at Kathy's Waffle Sketch File. 

I had quite a lot to say about these pictures, I'm really starting to record more on my pages, although it is sometimes hidden.  In this instance the big ticket I had created was just the right place to squeeze it all on.

The papers from the kit are Amy Tangerine Sketchbook in Viridian Vignette for the flowers, grey checks and yellow chevron border.  The blue frame is cut from Indigo inspiration paper from the same line and just picks out the splash of blue in the pictures

The only thing I have added to the page is some splatters of Dylusions ink in Fresh Lime.  The blue paper already had green splatters on it so I used the ink to carry this through on to the white card and also across to the opposite corner.  It also helped to co-ordinate with the Grass Amy Tangerine Thickers for the title.

I'm entering my page for the spring/summer theme at Scrapbook Sisters this month.  All my children have summer birthdays, I'm just hoping we get a summer this year!
